Specializing in medium, large-format and digital natural landscapes and seascapes, Paul Rezendes’ lifelong love for nature is the inspiration for his compelling and transcendent photographs of North America’s wild, rural, and coastal habitats.
Paul is the author/photographer of the highly acclaimed guide Tracking & the Art of Seeing: How to Read Animal Tracks and Sign, The Wild Within: Adventures in Nature and Animal Teachings, and a stunning photography book coauthored with his wife, Paulette M. Roy, Wetlands: The Web of Life. His most recent publications include, Massachusetts Impressions, and Martha’s Vineyard Seasons, as well as a series of three Lighthouse Companion Guides for New England and Long Island Sound, and. Paul was a featured photographer in the November 2007 issue of Outdoor Photographer magazine. His photos have graced the covers of other national magazines, appeared on billboards and museum murals, and are featured in hundreds of calendars, magazines, posters, catalogues, postcards and books, as well as brochures and promotional materials for corporate and commercial accounts in the US and abroad. In addition to his stock photography business, he has worked on assignments for several regional and national magazines, and offers fine art prints for sale. A native New Englander, Paul grew up in Westport, MA and when not photographing from his sailboat or van, lives with his wife in a remote forest on the banks of the Millers River in Athol, Massachusetts.
