Michelle Brunner, an Ohio painter and art educator, spends the majority of her summers on the Lake Erie Islands and along the sandy shores of Lake Michigan. The carefree lifestyle of the islands and scenic views along the lake shores inspire her to create paintings that are peaceful and invoke lasting memories of summer. Her paintings reflect life on the islands and the sights and sounds along the lakes; hollyhocks along the shore, hydrangeas in front of adorable cottages and sailboats racing across the bay.
