Savanah was born and raised in Ketchikan, Alaska, so a love for everything marine and outdoors came naturally. Photography was always a passion from a young age, after high school she attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, and graduated with a BA in Digital Imaging. She worked in Seattle as a photographer and editor for 15+ years until Alaska called her back and she now resides in Sitka, Alaska. Now working in the tourism/marketing sector mostly, she still loves to photograph whales, oceanscapes, and travel. However, fishing and taking adventures with her 2 boys are now where most free time goes.
