About the Artist

Photographer Audrey Rydalch was raised in Los Angeles, California, where she spent many weekends camping on beaches, watching seabirds, and surveying the horizon for whales. Her family spent many summers in Idaho, traveling the country and exploring the wonder of the National Parks. During her senior year in high school, her family moved to Idaho which afforded Audrey more opportunities to enjoy the world of nature surrounding her. Her love for animals and nature really grew and matured during this time.

Audrey has always loved photography, but it wasn’t until after her children were grown that she truly became serious about investing in her own photographic journey. Her first camera was a Minolta film camera with which she won several blue ribbons for her work at the Idaho State Fair. She was over the moon when she received her first DSLR camera from her children for Christmas and began photographing everything and anything she could. As a result, she couldn’t get to Yellowstone or the Tetons enough.

Being so close to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park fuels Audrey’s desire to photograph the beauty surrounding her. She has had the pleasure of traveling to Alaska and photographing Eagles in the wild, which is by far one of the most life-changing experiences she’s had in her photographic journey. While Audrey doesn’t have a favorite animal to photograph, eagles simply capture her heart and she also loves to photograph bears and moose in the Fall.
