Still life painter, Ken Marlow was born in Texas, but lived all over with his air force family. In Washington D.C., he studied with Danni Dawson and in Philadelphia with Nelson Shanks. He received a degree in art history from Yale University and his work has been exhibited in institutions such as the Mississippi Museum of Art, the Hollis Taggart Galleries in New York City, and the Jane Haslem Gallery. Ken Marlow paints in the realist style creating small, intricate still-lives that capture the individuality of each object.
