About the Artist

Steven Garrett was raised in a factory town in Pennsylvania. His family moved to Atlanta when he was in high school. Garrett began drawing during high school then went on to study illustration at Savannah College of Art and Design. Painting developed into a passion later at college after a trip to Italy. Travel has been his greatest source of inspiration. Garrett tries to travel to a remote place at least once a year. The varieties of landscapes feed his creativity and provide new technique ideas.
