Jessica Torrant is a native of rural, northern Connecticut and lives with her husband, author Robert Duperre. She studied painting at the University of New Hampshire and earned a BA in Studio Art in 1999. Jessica also studied painting at the University of California Santa Cruz through an exchange program, and it was during this time on the west coast that she was introduced to abstraction as a mode of artistic expression. Jessica has exhibited her work in galleries and exhibits across the US and London since 2004, and has sold her original art online to hundreds of collectors worldwide.
