Casey Matthews' paintings are mixed-media, which are visually arresting, layered, and abstract. She embraces the drips and splatters that develop along the way, which tend lend themselves to an unfinished journey. She communicates with lots of movement and energy, with surfaces that are visually intriguing with expressive colors and organic shapes; leading the mind’s eye on an aesthetic journey throughout the emotive process. Matthews paints from her studio on Amelia Island, Florida, and currently splits her time between New York City & Florida.
