Believe me, there are a ton of canvas options out there. We have tested literally 50-100 canvases available on the market and most of them perform about the same. Colors are good, not great, black looks dull compared to paper, canvas weight and texture are ok. The reason there is so much to choose from is that digital printing is the one part of the printing industry that is expanding and so every manufacturer is trying to offer a full gamut of products, paper, vinyls, canvas, etc. Most manufacturers today, were not making digital products, they were making for instance, offset paper, this business is declining and so started making digital paper. While they may come out with something that works and gets them out into the market, the product is not great. There are a few manufacturers that produce quality digital products, as they have always been manufacturing on quality not price. This is what I look for. As an open edition art publisher, price is definitely important, but quality is more important. If a print looks dull, it doesn't matter how cheap it is, no-one will buy it.
