Just launched are 7 new petite format prints of works by American Modernist painter Arthur G. Dove published in collaboration with The Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Dove embraced bold colors and forms to create these expressive works using a variety of materials including oil paint, wax, and resin on canvas. In these works and his other images of nature, the forms are simplified and abstracted while still remaining identifiable.
His color forms have an organic harmony, as in nature, and reveal the artist’s thoughtful and seasoned study of how the somewhat limited range of colors interplay with one another. Available in ready-to-frame 11x14” format, see the Arthur Dove Print Collection.
