Launching today is McGaw Graphics’ first print collection devoted to figurative and portraiture art. Including 80 images by 9 artists, the collection includes a range of stylistic renderings of the human figure. The collection introduces Hungarian figure artist János Huszti. Inspired by historical images and contemporary street art, Huszti creates enigmatic and haunting portraits. Also new to the McGaw artist roster is Mandy Tsung. Her emotive portraits communicate the depths of human experience through gestures and expressions. Along with these new artists, we are thrilled to add new works from top selling artists Loui Jover, Jessica Durrant, Rob Delamater, Sillier than Sally, Philippe Debongnie, Kim McAninch, and Mercedes Lagunas. Loui Jover’s new works are fierce portraits on a backdrop of vintage book pages. We are also introducing a new series of retro pop art inspired romantic portraits by Jover. Jessica Durrant’s bold watercolor fashion images continue to evolve in fresh new directions with these new works. Rob Delamater’s “Sun” and “Moon” are reminiscent of Classic Greek and Roman portraits in a fresh minimalist hand. Sillier than Sally’s whimsical watercolor portraits incorporate mythology and fantasy in a luscious palette. Included are new works by Philippe Debongie from his “Family Album” collection of vintage portraits of human forms with animal faces. We’ve also added new paintings by Philippe featuring human skull portraits in the style of his popular black and white wildlife portraits. Kim McAninch, known for her beautiful coastal landscapes, has created a series of nude portraits in a bright spring palette. Mercedes Lagunas’ new portraits have the same bright and bold bohemian elements as her popular still life images, with strong feminine images. View the Figurative Collection.
