Fischbach Gallery has just opened an exhibition of work by celebrated American realist painter Alice Dalton Brown. “Farmsteads 1971-1976”, on view through April 10, 2017, features images of barns, stables, depots and coops on paper completed by the artist in the 1970’s. This collection of images marked the beginning of the artist’s love for “the home”, a theme which has been the focus of her work for the past fifty years.
